Goodbye, Julie.

Today was the last day at work for Julie, the editor of the Almaden Times. Between Julie, Candy and me, we transitioned the paper from monthly to weekly, completely redesigned it, and consistently kicked the competition's hindquarters. We had become a pretty good team despite a bit of artistic friction. I'll miss her. However, we're about to move into a new office in Silver Creek, and we'll have a new editor overseeing our most competitive product, so it feels like a new day at the Times - a little sad maybe (as change often is), but exciting at the same time.

Too much estrogen. (This is mostly the editorial arm of the Times, saying goodbye at our "Goodbye Julie" potluck.)

Julie and her daughter, Sam, who came for the party.

Fork.

Goodbye Julie!
